Week 10 – Tank

Week 10 was a slightly better experience than week 9.  I loaded my Bronica S2a with Portra 400 and set out to do some portraits.  Unfortunately I did not realize that the S2a syncs the flash at 1/30 instead of 1/60.  None of them came out.

I did save the last few shots for this historical oddity.  The only recorded surviving water tank from the Boston & Maine RR is located in a private lakeside community in Gilford, NH.  The area was originally an employee retreat for the railroad.

  1. I like the “looming” quality of the last one, the details of construction and the texture of the wood. The first two set the stage, but the third is the star of the show.
