Week 15 – Day at the Museum

Having never been to the Bob Bullock Museum (all about Texas history), I decided to take my daughter there on a day when she got out of school early.  Unfortunately it ended up feeling like a bit too much of an educational field trip for her liking – and, to be fair, we encountered many field trips during our visit – but it was a still a fun day, including a trip to a playground, and some seriously amazing fried chicken for dinner.  I’m not much of a history buff, so after taking some quick looks at the things that interested me, I entertained myself by seeking out light and interesting silhouettes.  And of course I photographed the field trips.

These are from a roll of HP5 that day, made with Nikon FM2

  1. Out of all the history I’ve studied, Texas has one of the more unique histories. And how so many Texans are super patriotic about it. I feel that everyone should feel the same way about their own histories!
