I got out the Pentax 67 to experiment with a technique that will be the subject of an upcoming post, but a birthday party came along, and I love the 67 so much, and shoot it too little.
I foolishly brought only expired film, which I had to shoot at a lower ISO (25 or 50), and although it was a sunny day, I forgot that the yard where the party would be is shaded by the house by mid-afternoon. I shot wide open at f/2.4, but still did a lot of praying as I was shooting at 1/60th, 1/30th and 1/15th of a second handheld. Still, they managed to work out OK. I developed them at home in Diafine. I was using the only lens I have, the 105mm.
I missed exact focusing some of the time, but some of the time, it was good. How important is precise focusing anyway? 🙂
