The day I left for Europe last year I tried out a new barbershop in my area, the Village Cigar Co. & Barbershop. I had been to that point been going to a local barber in town for most of my life but recently wasn’t too happy with the service. So at the suggestion of my buddy James, I gave them a shot and was rather impressed. But at the time they only had a store in Burlington and the weekend appointments booked up fast. So when they opened a shop in downtown Oakville, I began to use them on a regular basis.
So this past week I decided to after finishing the cut to take my camera out and walk along the main street, Lakeshore Road. Now this wasn’t the first time that Oakville has been featured this year, and probably won’t be the last. But the evening light was a great way to shoot off the roll. I also approached the roll not with any real theme in mind, if I saw it, liked it, I shot it. From the hip.
But seriously, gentlemen (and ladies who like gentlemen’s haircuts) Village Cigar Co. & Barbershop has some amazing barbers who really treat their customers well and they all know their craft really well. So if you’re in the Oakville or Burlington Area, give them a shot, seriously.
