I’ve been promising a Holga Stroll down Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado. Finally did it and will share the results this week and next:
Our focus this week is the 19th Century Architecture along the Pearl Street Mall.
Unfortunately the character of the Mall has changed a lot in the 10 years we’ve lived here. People still like to ‘hang out’ here, but gone are the art galleries and many of the locally owned restaurants. Priced out of the market by the ‘hip and trendy’. So not all that remains is the architecture. Empty store fronts are more prevalent:
It’s literally time for Boulder to ‘reflect’ on what they want to represent:
