Wk 3 (2017): 2017 Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championships

Every January, dozens of the best professional sculptors and snow artists in the world come to Breckenridge to compete. In 65 hours, with cheese graters and wooden spoons, they carve a 12-foot-tall, 25-ton block of snow.

Towards the end of my roll, I think the cold started to effect the camera. The last few shots exhibited these artifacts.

Shot with a Mamiya 6, using Ilford Delta 100 film. Normal development using clayton F76+ developer. Scanned with an Epson V700 flatbed scanner.
