May photo meetup

I’m a bit behind.   Some bumps in the road.   Sorry I’ve been away.

Last May, I went out for a random walkabout with a Seattle film photography group that meets every Saturday morning in a coffee shop, then wanders from there.  That day we met in the coffee/tea place in the Panama Hotel, in Seattle’s international district.

I was shooting with the Fuji GA645Wi.  It’s a fun no-brainer autofocus auto exposure medium format camera.   Seriously, it’s one of the easiest, lightest ways to shoot medium format.

Many of the telephone poles in the international district have these colorful dragons.

It was a fun day!  Despite getting a parking ticket.

I developed these at home in Diafine.   I’m going to try out some D76 next.  I used it in college, but not since.   Diafine is just so easy.

I make it to only about 1/5 Saturday morning meetups. But I make it to all the pinhole meetups.
There are bunch of groups (, facebook) for digital stuff too.

  1. I bought a Fuji GA645Zi for the same reason. I wanted a quick point and shoot medium format camera for street photography. I love it. Works perfectly for my intended purpose. And Yes I do occasionally get those unexpected focus points……..
